Large appliances (white goods) consist mainly of dishwashers, washing machines and cookers. These may contain environmentally hazardous substances, such as PCBs, which are removed during recycling.

Municipal recycling centres accept all e-waste. The municipality can collect larger e-waste items for a fee. Some shops also accept e-waste.
