Bring your old medicines to the pharmacy in a clear plastic bag. Special bags are available at most pharmacies. An exception is cytostatics (cancer medicines), which must be taken to the municipal recycling centre.

For used syringes and needles, most pharmacies can provide you a special container. When this container is full, you can turn it in at a pharmacy or healthcare centre. Needles must never be turned in for collection in any way other than the special container.
